– Kayode Fayemi, the Mines and Steel Development minister, said that for beneficiaries of the Npower scheme to sustain the programme, they have to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari come 2019 polls.
– Fayemi made the appeal to Nigerian youth while he was in Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti during the scheme’s first anniversary
– He revealed that a total of 3,600 beneficiaries in Ekiti were employed in the scheme in 2016 while 8,000 were recruited in 2017.
Kayode Fayemi, the Mines and Steel Development minister, has urged Nigerian youths and beneficiaries of N-Power programme of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 presidential election.
Fayemi made the appeal in Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti during the scheme’s first anniversary. He said the youths empowerment was a priority to APC government.
The programme held at the popular AB foundation hall, Housing Road was attended by hundreds of youths who were commending the president in songs, the Independent reports.
